MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana are pleased to announce significant progress in the bid to implement a national roaming service in Ghana amongst operators.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone Ghana, Patricia Obo-Nai, has advised players in the technology industry to be deliberate in creating a work culture that attracts and empowers gender diversity.
Ghana operator Glo Mobile has entered into a nationwide national roaming arrangement with AirtelTigo for voice, data and SMS services to provide wider coverage and a faster internet experience for its customers. All Glo customers will connect automatically to the AirtelTigo network from 23 April where possible, with all other conditions of service unchanged.
Glo customers who face any difficulty in connecting to the AirtelTigo network are advised to manually select the AirtelTigo network in their device’s network settings and enable data roaming.
The Minister for Communications and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has expressed the Ministry’s optimism to partner parents, guardians, teachers, elders of faith-based institutions in various communities, to support in guiding the youths on the ‘Dos and Don’ts in the use of online tools to develop their career paths to contribute to national development.
